“Privates on Parade” is a playful ode to the U.S. Marine Corps, transcending mere parody (of recruitment commercials, of movies like “Full Metal Jacket”) – to offer a celebration of brotherhood and uninhibited self-expression. Centered around a young recruit (Brett Swann) who is caught jacking off in his barracks day-room, it captures the essence of lust and playful voyeurism among soldiers. As the unsuspecting protagonist indulges in his morning ritual, he becomes aware of a fellow Marine (Brad Liman), observing him with a blend of amusement and curiosity.
