“Redneck Mountain” offers a whimsical twist on the iconic narratives of Western films and the notion of rascally, over-sexed cowboys. Set against the backdrop of backwater hills, these scenes capture the essence of rural Americana with a humorous twist, as a young hillbilly – unsuspectingly portrayed – takes a bath in an outdoor metal tub, blissfully unaware of the gazes of fellow broncos (or is he???).
Drawing inspiration from the work of Tom of Finland, the images exude a sense of cheeky camaraderie and playful sensuality – the exaggerated masculinity of the characters and poses adding to the tongue-in-cheek nature (no pun intended).
The talented first-time models are Joey Davenport, Al Brown, Sledge Toomey, and Rick Pitt. We will most certainly be hearing more from them.
